Hello Everyone – Hunters, Friends and Family

Sorry it's so late this year, but a short note as to what happened over this last year.

After a short trip to the US in January, it was straight to Cameroon Hunting with DAN out of North Carolina, on a quest for the enigmatic Lord Derby Eland. After knocking a good bull down, Dan went on to collect Red–flanked Duiker, Roan, Hartebeest and Oribi.

Next to Cameroon was my old friend, ALEJANDRO together with his wife, MARIA and friends FRANK and LOLA for a short 7 day Buffalo/Plains Game hunt. A successful hunt all round. "Happy Days"! These chaps were followed by ROBERT of California after Lion and Buffalo. We spent many hours tracking and calling but never came up with anything shootable. However, all was not lost – Robert taking a nice Buffalo, Hartebeest, Bushbuck and other Plains Game. Thus ended the Cameroon season.

From there back to Zim for a short rest before we travelled to New Zealand for a month to visit family.

May saw FRANZ and HERMANN from Austria on an exploratory hunt in Mozambique for 2 weeks. Good potential for future years.

By now the Southern Africa season was in full swing, father and son team, TOM Junior and Senior hunting in Sengwa area.

End of July saw MOSATS from Kuwait hunting Plains Game in Matetsi. A great shot he was - hope to see you again next season.

August was upon us and brought the return of BILL from Wisconsin for his Buffalo. Hunting the Lemco area, Bill took a wonderful Buff of 44 ½ inches. Well done, Bill, the best of the year!

Mid August arrived with PEDRO from Mexico. Pedro had an excellent hunt, taking an Elephant on his birthday! Well done. Then it was back to Matetsi hunting with ROY, with whom I shared a camp a few years back. Roy took a good selection of animals – from Buff to Sable, Giraffe and Hyaena. Look forward to seeing you in Reno in January.

From Matetsi straight to Chirisa to hunt with two wonderful gentlemen, Professor ERNEST from Southern California and RUSS from Oregon. We had a great time together and look forward to doing it again.

Another elephant hunt with WAYNE from Mississippi and his friend/cameraman, RASSIE of South Africa. A full on 10 days Elephant hunt getting in close – a good experience.

To end off the season, the arrival of Kiwis, STU-E and JUDY, fellow outfitters and professional hunters from New Zealand. A wonderful hunt, taking Elephant, Buffalo, Hyaena, Impala and Judy, a beautiful 45" Sable. What a way to end off, my friends. HAPPY DAYS!!
